Chain Disaster
the first main i receive in the morning
is a stupid chain message.
if you don't forward it, you look forward
to a horrible morning tomorrow.
hey, you know what, we have

us people who have to work and get bummed

Travelers Check-List
Dear fellow Thailand travelers,
It is awesome to go to one of my favorite places on planet and one of the only five countries i have seen so far with you guys. Yes, the day after we will be going Thailand- the land of the elephants, t-shirts and alcohol, although we may not be too interested in the former. i will take this opportunity to extend my knowledge about thailand to you and give you some dos and donts about this beautiful country-
~ thailand is one of the last prevailing monarchies of the world. the king here is loved dearly by the people and has the stature of a demi god
~ although the people seem irritated & rude, they are usually nice to tourists. usually i say, don't pay that taxi driver less than the decided fare.
~ tourism is not alone sex tourism. there is more to thailand.
~ thailand has one of the world's largest skewed sex ratio, with women forming 55% of the population, poor thai men or lucky thai men? or lucky us?
~ almost all thai people you will see would be well turned out, better dressed and styled.
~ bangkok is the heaven of cheap imitation fashion brands. look out for t-shirts that will cost you less than Rs. 100 or less than $2, which look like a million bucks.
~ although it may seem, but prostitution is not promoted by the government.
~ if you're gay, pattaya is like your lollipop heaven; if you believe in heaven that is.
~ if you are learning english, thailand is probably not the place. after a long stay, one's english becomes just a collection of odd words put together as "go, give, take, how much, etc."; sentence formation is somehow not accepted here.
~ if you plan to drink like homer, you should probably tie a huge placard around your neck mentioning the name of your hotel so the tourist police can drop you home safely. who would mind a party driver?
~ do not forget to ride the metro in bangkok.
~ shoot some pool with thai girls, i bet you you can't even beat a second grader. they have pool in like their genes or something.
~ fill your pockets with loads of cash, fancy gadgets, gold rings etc and roam around bangkok at night. if you are prince of brunei, that is. we're not so keep those franklins in the hotel room.
~ some girls, well, may not be girls after all.
~ if you're a vegetarian, welcome to hell.
WEll that is it, i hope we have loads of fun there. it is great to go back to a place you know.

The Black Hill - Khawda in Western India - Gujarat
The above
photo was taken atop a hill known as "the black hill" in Khavda in
Western India in the state of Gujarat. It is on the border adjoining
Pakistan.
It is a village that was one of the worst devastated in the earthquake of 2001. Mostly Muslim dominated with hardly a population of 1000 now, this village was very densely populated once. More about Khavda is not available on the net in detail. Still worth a trip.
Anywho, it is the end of a disastrous financial year, and it isn't gettin' any better i hear.
